Located in the historical and bohemian downtown – that was reconstructed after the earthquake of 1755 using the orthogonal shapes and majestic architecture of the 18th century– O Artista was born at a building from 1951.

O Artista – Boutique Suites, symbolises the love for Lisbon. The praise for being Portuguese, for the peak of cultural movements of the 50’s, for the mythical age of cinema, of Vasco Santana and Beatriz Costa. Once the home of Vasco Santana, the building was rehabilitated by João Tiago Aguiar and decorated by Nini Andrade Silva in a way that its sophisticated atmosphere resembles the dramatic scenes painted by the masters of the 20th century.
